Riverdale Review: “What are your hopes for this school year?”

Kellie Taylor: “I hope that everyone grows in their experience of theater, particularly technical theater and learns skills that maybe they thought they would never be capable of. I hope that everyone pushes themselves towards excellence and are not afraid to fail as they learn and try new skills, myself included.”

RR: “What did you do this summer?”

KT: “I was still working at my other job during the summer. But, I did become a volunteer sailor with the Seaport Museum on a giant, tall ship that does 19th century sailing. So I learned to sail on an 1885 cargo ship and I have been sailing the New York Harbor all summer.”

RR: “What is your favorite thing about the fall?”

KT: “I love everything about the Fall. I mean orange is my favorite color, so that is like a default. But I think I just love how everything is really crispy, like the air is crispy, and the leaves sound crispy and all the delicious treats are crispy.”
