Recruited Athlete Interviews, Dylan Munchus: Hampton College - Lacrosse

Riverdale Review: And how long have you been playing your sport?  

Dylan Munchus: Since first grade. 

RR: Who has been your greatest inspiration or role model during your athletic career?

DM: My cousin is the one who got me into lacrosse. We used to play on the beach and his best friend went to Rutgers to play lacrosse. He’s with the pros right now. So I practice with him.

RR: What are most looking forward to about going to Hampton?

DM: Playing lacrosse with other Black kids and Black people. Just because it’s like there’s not a lot of black people in lacrosse so I want to be able to play with other black people too. And hopefully more black kids will want to go there too.
