Riverdale Review: What brought you to Riverdale? What and where was your previous job?

Ms. Jodie Schaeffer: My previous job was at Fresh Hill Children’s School which is when I initially came to Riverdale just to visit for the day but I fell in love with the campus and the people. Fortunately, an opening arose and I pursued it.

RR: What’s one thing all students/teachers should know about you?

JS: I have no sense of direction, so if you see me lost please tap me on the shoulder and ask “What are you trying to find?”

RR: Did you always want to be a teacher? If not, what other profession(s) did you consider pursuing?

JS: Before I was a teacher, I used to work on Wall Street and then I decided that I was ready for a change and I totally changed my life and became a teacher.
